Intensive Outpatient Program for Substance Abuse
The Intensive Outpatient Program allows individuals to receive treatment for their addiction and co-occurring disorders while at home, work or school.
Offered both during the day and in the evening, the program consists of three hour counseling sessions that make it possible for clients to easily incorporate into their work or school schedule.
Individuals are required to attend 12-Step meetings and are encouraged to become involved with their support systems that are so vital to recovery.
Admission Criteria
- Diagnosis of abuse/dependence of any mood altering drug (except caffeine or nicotine)
- Detoxification (Inpatient Detox is also available)
- Cognitively competent and adequately stable
IOP Hours & Information
Monday through Thursday (4 to 6 Weeks)
11:00am to 2:00pm or 6:00pm and 9:00pm
Program Goals
- An opportunity for the individual to assess his or her own addiction patterns and to gain insight into the negative consequences of abusing alcohol and other drugs.
